Impure Thoughts

Ben and Libby are back, and things are going to get pretty crazy.

When we last saw them, Chelsea had delivered a late night instruction and implant. Two days hence, she will meet with her lord and arcane master for some back hole cherry popping.

Folks, this book took a long time to write and, wow, did it stretch and stretch. Every thing about this book made me more curious about the characters, wanting to know more and wanting them to do more.

Kind of a spoiler alert: There’s a reason this book is part of a new series even though it’s a continuation of Chelsea Hates Libby. It’s apparent one chapter in. This book has Libby’s voice. Now this character is going places. Her voice was stifled in the first series because the whole point was the mystery. Now we know everything. Oh, wait, no we don’t! Libby is a sexy, slippery little eel who lies to herself as much as she lies to others. But gosh darnit, under it all she’s a little sweetheart. Conflicted like all of us. I love her.

I hope you think Impure Thoughts is a doozy the way I do. I just re-read it this morning and had to crank the AC!

  1. Ha! Nice teaser, KT! 🙂 Can’t wait for the book to show up. I’m even letting my wife cook dinner (I have to wash every dish in the house)!! 🙂

      1. Or a semblance of?

Spa is next! The Scuderia should do well there, finally.

    1. Excited and Looking forward to this continuation.
Also happy sad that we have a Reza finale coming …

  2. “… the waiting is the hardest part…”

“…I said the wait child pacing child forth and back now hurts
The wait child bus stop child late come child hurts
The wait child pool hall child pin table now hurts
The wait child magic child work it on out now work it…”

    1. Final round of speculation!

      Premise: Libby lies

      1. Libby lied about the extent of her playing with the guy in school–we know that–but she didn’t tell it all: She did him.

      2. Libby was sexually active during the break in college.

      3. Libby has cheated before.

      4. Libby lies a lot during this next book.

  3. It feels like the wait time increases by an hour with every release – or maybe KT’s fans are just too ravenous.

In any case, looking forward to reading it! Wondering how my expectations will pan out.

    1. It’s exhilarating to move from the thoughts of Ben who was at the onset an “innocent” comparatively. Who was corrupted, though easily turned, into his current state reality. Libby is my new Loch Ness! As the layers blossom with every new page we read I find that we know LEAST about her. She was an almost plain and boring but know I can’t imagine a more enticing character to unravel!

      1. That’s how I feel! Writing her as a mystery didn’t let me in her head. Everything was Ben-centric. I prefer doing the dual perspectives.

    1. overall thought the story was a great start for the new series… i like that Libby is now a pov character so you don’t need Ben in the room. Hope in the future we get some extended sex scenes between Finn and Libby alone and see what he gets her to agree to while being pleasured.

  4. Well, we have started reading… we couldn’t read it right away because we had another interview for the adoption process.

But yeah, so far, we’re loving the slow burn! 🙂

  5. That was interesting! Great, great setup, KT! Now, to think about our review; oh, it’s going to be five stars, just don’t know what to title it because we’ve learned everything spins off the title. We wonder what’s in store for Libby and Ben in future installments?

In Through The Out Door — Led Zeppelin. Whole Lotta Love? (Way, down inside. Woman! You need…) Just thinking… Change Partners? (Why do I always think of oldies? Maybe I’m channelling my Dad.)

      1. LMAO!!!!!!! Squeeze My Lemon!!!!

I ran my proposed title by the boss and it’s approved!!! It’s so appropriate!! An oldie, too!

  6. Interesting turn of events. KT; a great read as always. Just like an episode of House, but with better sex! Everyone is a liar, except possibly Ben (and Remi and XiXi).

Seems to me Chelsea and Finn are the type who like to watch things burn. The series Prologue tells us something of that, and Ben saw a certain malevolence in Finn’s eyes at one point. KT now has us all wondering how C&F are going to ruin Ben and Libby, though Libby may not be aware that she is ruined.

One timeline question: at one point Libby appeared to narrate a history of her “friendship” with Finn that went much further into the past than just he recent coffee hours. Are we going to discover even more layers of Lib?

When do we introduce Libby to Charlie? They could talk books and bondage, and his to be a complete slut while wearing sensible shoes. Doesn’t Ben need some working capital for his company? I’m sure Reza could find the funds for a suitable price.

    1. Thank you—dirty TV episodes is my schtick!

What’s the reference to a longer friendship (narrows eyes, trying to remember what was written)?

Libby and Charlie would revert to timidness. Big LOL at the Reza/Scream Queens crossover—I can see it!

      1. Libby looking back at times with Finn over coffees that appear to predate the summer period.

    2. You know there are parallels! I didn’t think about it until donkatsu2 mention it. Big difference in villians, though… Reza is honest about his intentions. 🙂

I mean, really. Does anyone believe Chelsea’s “plan”?

Taking it back to the prologue, yet again, I’ll bet real money that Chelsea’s intention is to have Libby fall in love with Finn (sure looks like way intense NRE going on, now), and have Finn destroy her. But wouldn’t it be a twist if Finn returned Libby’s feelings and Chelsea found herself on the outs? Poor Ben.

      1. DND,
There has to be some way that Ben ends up shafted and destroyed, and it has to be the change in Libby, nest-ce pas?

      2. I don’t know. I kind of think the hardest cut to Ben and the one with the most destruction would be if Libby fell in love with Finn and then if Finn returned her feelings. It would be destructive even if it was only Libby.

The prologue is really interesting and probably the biggest teases we’ve ever read (next to the Epilogue of Happy Endings). KT mentioned in another thread that Ben’s destruction can take many forms. When thinking about hurt, I would imagine the biggest one is losing the love of the woman you’re so deeply in love with, like Ben is with Libby.

I know when my wife and I played, she had a bout of intense NRE with a guy in FL. I’m not the jealous kind, but when she started staying out all night, then snapped at me on the phone, I demanded she come home. All I had to ask her is, “Are you in love?” Asking that question put things in perspective for her. I wasn’t hurt, but the foundation for hurt was there. So, yeah hurt is a big deal.

It also brings me to a point about hotwives and this is based entirely on what I have read. When things go bad, it’s seldom the husband who is sliding. It’s the wife. Often at the encouragement of a cuckold husband (and sometimes a stag husband) who seem to be thrilled at the aspect of his wife going berserk, often ignoring the pleas of his wife.

Sex is a powerful, powerful drug and once some women get a taste of the freedom hotwifing gives them, some kind of go berserk. They become selfish, lie, cheat, and ultimately, the husband-wife relationship falls apart. There are a couple of examples on OHW, but most of the time, those couples just disappear. Those who don’t disappear and written hints or outright write, say their wife provided reassurance right up until their breakup. In one case the wife divorced the husband for the “bull” breaking up a 20-year plus marriage. It’s sad. Some people should just say no. It’s not for everyone.

That’s one reason why we read hotwife books. We like the escape from reality, and when a scene that’s too real is written, we just shake our heads and kiss each other. It’s why Cherry Blossums is a brilliant work–certain aspects are just too real.

In this book, as I have written, I would love to see Libby go completely nuts sexually. Not because that’s what I want in real life (I’ve had it, in part), but because it’s hot to read about a fictional character growing into her sexuality by leaps and bounds.

We actually are pulling for Ben in this story, now. Not because we like him, but because the hurt he’s likely going to feel is going to be insane, and destructive.

That’s more than you asked for, but it’s out there in the universe, now!

      3. DND,
I think you are spot on all round. I cannot imagine what you two went through on the way to where you are now (and congratulations to both of you for pulling yourselves back from the brink). But I suspect that, as you noted, many do not make it back.

Ben knows: at location 1487: “He smiled now too, the blackness of his eyes betraying what Ben saw for the first time as a hidden malevolence. Black tattoos scattered all over his muscular body, the veins in his arms bulging up against the surface; he held out a large hand and met Libby’s gaze. Libby folded her arms over her bare breasts, scooted awkwardly off the deck, then turned to face Finn. He wagged his hand, and she slipped hers inside it. “Let’s take you upstairs,” he said.”

Not just fun and games anymore, and you also sussed that out in discussion the husbands of the hotwives. But why destroy Ben as well, unless there is more to the High School story than we know at the moment. Or maybe C&F like the collateral damage part, too; orchestrating some great oeuvre.

Clearly, Libby is a project for them and Ben may just be a part of the overhead.

      4. This is excellent analysis—I love exploring that NRE, that is a very real and powerful feeling that you’re helpless to.

      5. donkatsu2,

We were never really at the brink. We did things that were out of character because we were bored. I know that seems hard to comprehend, but when you think about it, you realize that when you become bored, you try to reinvigorate things, or change entirely.

The thing that made us realize we were bored was the final thing we tried which was Daria at first wanting to have an affair. That stopped because aspects of it were downright dishonest, but morphed into Daria wanting to get swept off her feet, go on vacations, and do these things without me. That was never hot or anything but hurtful to me. I hid it well, though. I was never on board with being left out, but played along. My joining in or not was always an option before–one that I exercised regularly–just not this time, though.

Daria and some online people saw that I was just going through the motions and what I was going through, so before Christmas of 2017 (just before our little guy got sick) she broke it off with the guy.

Other than having her triad of guys alone and then together with me, That was it. We talked a lot and through it all realized we were bored and stopped. Hotwifing did make us closer, but now we’re closer than ever. Believe it or not, reading KT’s book helps that, a lot. So do books from other authors. Arnica Butler’s new book is insanely hot. Realizing what you don’t want is often more important than realizing what you do want.

It’s also good that two of her triad remain friends and one actually comes to check on our house when we’re out of town. He’s a great guy. So is the other guy who is in grad school. The third guy, we lost contact.

So, yeah, we’re lucky, but we were never on the brink of separation, even in early days.

Sorry for this, KT. I felt the need to explain so if this is inappropriate, feel free to delete it, without fear of anything but our speculative posts! 🙂

      6. Never! I love how candid you are—feel free to expound whenever you like. I’m happy when the comment section is alive with wonderful discussion, even when it digs deep.

      7. I think you’re right. Ben was along for the ride so while he discovers things about himself, namely that he’s a submissive and likely a cuckold, ultimately he’s collateral damage. But it’s damage that is essential in this series simply because of the prologue.

You know, that’s a trap, too. KT will navigate it deftly, but to divulge something like that at the beginning takes balls! 🙂

Though if Libby truly loves Ben, seeing Ben hurt will hurt Libby, too. That depends entirely on how Libby is hurt and her depth of feelings for Finn. So, hurt and destruction abound.

Ben, turning to Libby the day after the outing at the club and sadly says, “You don’t believe we’re on the eve of destruction?”

      8. DND,

Don’t C&F now have a path to hurt Libby coming and going – make her fall in love with Finn, dump her, and then hurt her again as she sees the damage to Ben. A two-for. After all, as much a stand-up guy as Geoff turned out to be, his marriage to Nia could never be the same after all that transpired.

Knowing KT, I think Chelsea will be made to suffer as well. Maybe Finn takes it too far with Libby and really pisses Chelsea off. Finn, without Chelsea, would not have access to the quality of babe to which he has grown accustomed. So there is plenty of pain to spread around.

        A speculation, KT, and please do not respond if you are not comfortable with it. I think you started with the club scene, when you witnessed it in real time among people you know (you alluded to as much a few months ago). You then needed a story to hang it on as much to explain the goings-on to yourself as to titillate us rubes in the L-48. {“But I knew “Libby” for years! She would NEVER do something like this.”}

      9. Ha, ha. NP! I can tell you very little about that personal experience I had is in this book. In fact, CHL was outlined in September ’18, long before my up-close ordeal happened. It may have affected how I fleshed the outline. Of that evening: the people involved are in my life for real now. Fucking weird. Like nothing happened. But I know she’s still doing it and I’m convinced hubby knows. And for real life stuff: Finn is a real person, penis size and all, and Chelsea is also a real person. In real life they are not married and do not know each other. I made up a lot of stuff about their character, but at the core those two exist irl.

      10. Yeah, there’s hurt all around if KT so chooses. That’s part of the thrill of reading books such as this one. It’s like a trainwreck in slow motion. And that’s a GREAT thing. The pacing is perfect as are the descriptions of what’s going on.

Yeah, they’ll never be the same, but evolution is a good thing. Let’s just hope at the end, Libby and Ben realize each other and revel in that. But before that will happen, I’ll speculate there’s gonna be a hole lotta hurtin’ goin’ on.

The Lemon Song might be very appropriate for the next volume. Whom it references is up to KT! 🙂

It’s all in KT’s extremely capable hands, the mind, and the realization of codes that become the words we love.

      11. DnD – I just want to say that my heart constantly goes out to you two. I eat up your little stories because it’s always a compelling read. I so badly want the adoption agency to give you all the green light!

      12. Thanks, James. I feel very self conscious when I write those things. Daria approves, though. I just don’t want to come across as an ego maniac or someone trying to hijack things. That’s not me at all.

We had another interview, so as far as we know, the process is going well. We have another interview this coming week with yet another person. We’re glad they’re taking our dreams seriously. I can see no reason that would block us from becoming parents.

      13. KT,

By saying that stuff about candor, you don’t know what kind box you just kicked over! LOL! Seriously, I’ll only share things like this with my wife’s approval, in advance. Thanks for the support!

One thing I will share now is this: Nobody knows the thrill I experience when I see Daria as she was today: Long dark hair down, bangs that frame her eyes, white turtle neck sweater, black vest, skin-tight, ripped skinny jeans, and black thigh-high stretch suede thigh high platform boots that CONFORM–love it!!! It was outright cold here this morning…until then!

A “visit” for the adoption process is happening this week. I need to ask a lot of quesitons.

  7. Had to stop at Chapter 25! Going to read that again starting at hot tub!! Loving it TOO MUCH! I can’t let it end when the next books aren’t ready yet!!! I need some “Chernobly” for my hot tub time machine!

  8. One of the things we like about the Reza books is the transformation of Charlie. Now, we have the transformation of Libby. Not speaking for my wife this time, but I really hope Libby turns into a complete slut. Clothes, everything. I sure hope the trip to the club is her “coming out” party! KT, only you could write it and have it be a natural evolution for Libby. Seriously. My wife only partly gets into that aspect, and she has her reasons that I won’t go into here, but it does seem like she’s headed that way. Slut cuckholdress.

Sorry for all the language. I’ve been battling a Windows 10 update all day and finally gave up and reverted. Frustrating.

    1. Agreed.. Personally i’d Like it if the next book solely focused on Libby and her transformation. Finn could meet her at work they could mess around and maybe get caught. or g Finn comes over when Ben is out of town and fucks Libby all night, maybe Ben calls her while Finn is fucking her and she tries to hide it etc cause they agree only to play when the other is there. Finally, keep Chelsea to a minimum like book 3 of the last story. I don’t think she adds much except to be the bad guy and we don’t need to know her intentions until the it’s time to start wrapping up the story. Personally I think this story has a lot of paths to venture down so I hope it goes on for more than 3 parts.

      1. Just finished. Can’t believe kt quoted Bruce Lee’s “water” interview. What a classic?

  9. This was a really, really well written story. I am very intrigued by how KT has written Chelsea and Finn. Coupled with Reza or Lovelace (who I haven’t thought about in a long time), I really feel like KT does a really good job at making psychopathic bad guys. The type that make you feel unsettled when they say nice things to people. Whenever Chelsea compliments Libby, don’t you just feel it in the pit of your stomach? Whenever you have people that have questionable intentions do or say something that you have viscerally positive reaction to, the juxtaposition is disorienting. Chelsea being supportive of Libby, and Libby, nice girl that she wants to be, can’t stay mad at Chelsea. Now she might actually like her a little bit.

The mind control aspects of this story are pretty on point without being ridiculous and unrealistic, I am not really a big fan of manipulation in stories, it can easily become contrived and I hate when things don’t feel natural in a story, HATE it. You have to give it up for KT’s devotion to psychology, I constantly applaud her for spending most of her time in people’s heads (or making you obsess over what’s going on in a character’s head when she REFUSES to let you in, something she loves to do for a lot of her female characters, the latest being Libby). So Chelsea and Finn build up the moment when Finn and Libby will see each other again, they tease and build it from the periphery and force Ben and Libby to follow their rules not to touch each other. Ben accepts his role in this and takes ownership of it and almost seems like he is in control by making Libby do the things that he wants her to to enhance the mood. I think that impresses Libby but they build up an expectation of what is going to happen that day, only to walk in and realize they aren’t the only ones there. Ben and Libby have little control of this situation like they think, both of them thinking, “Is this what it’s like? Is this what we asked for?” They think they are playing these games to get what they want, but Chelsea and Finn aren’t done pushing boundaries.

To me Xixi and Reni are Chelsea and Finn’s props. Another degree of separation from what Ben and Libby were before they ever reunited with Chelsea, to now being whatever thing the two of Chelsea and Finn want Ben and Libby to be. That scene where Chelsea is talking to Ben about being a submissive, it’s really powerful, really digging in to those ever present feelings of insecurity but doing it in a way that hits harder because, again like I said above, she compliments Ben. Here she is pigeonholing a human being into a role, yet Ben is a success in life, and ‘do you know how hard it is to find someone like you? You’re perfect!’ But it’s a key moment where Chelsea again is racheting up the power, here Ben is in a state of disorientation trying to understand what is happening, and Chelsea has the solution for him, “give in to it, this is who you are, isn’t it fun?”

For some reason, I could not shake the thought when Chelsea saw Libby orgasm from Finn’s backdoor entry and she said, ‘Anal orgasm’ so categorically, it felt like that scene in a fantasy or epic where the character has achieved something that the story was hinting at only being in legend, but you knew was going to happen eventually. Like the Blue Steel Magnum from Zoolander. You did it, Libby and Finn!

A really great story for the new series, really sets a new tone. One where Libby is finally growing up out of a state of sexual dormancy, Chelsea and Finn are a beautiful, terrifying mystery, and Ben’s mind is spinning. I appreciate how much love Ben and Libby show, I have to respect that the KT story must make it about them even when I have other preoccupations in the story, it’s definitely tangible and that has a sweetness that I hate reading because it’s boring but love feeling because I want that (what am I talking about?).

And just for shits and giggles, KT decides to insert parent drama, which is I think a standard at this point in KT stories, did mom and dad see their precious angel blowing her husband on the street? I fucking love the concept of a mom and dad just visiting their daughter, “Oh let’s stop and visit the kids, we’re not going to eat all this cake …oh, oh my …” Guess what momma, your daughter fuuuuuucks. LOL

Couple more one off thoughts –
    1) What do people take from Libby saying that she got to say to her friends at school that ‘she fucked Ronnie?’ Is that her admitting she actually DID have sex with Ronnie, or is that her taking a nugget of truth because he did finger bang her and making a bigger story out of it because she wants to make her classmates jealous? I loooove that KT fucks with our heads with things like this.
    2) I also enjoyed the concept that Libby might not want Ben to watch sometimes … not just because of what I like, but also because ‘why would you want that, Libby?’ I have my thoughts, many of them more innocent than anything about being deceptive, but again, KT fucking with heads.
    3) Blood Orange is the bee’s knees

    1. Question 1, We think it’s pretty much a done deal that Libby had actual penetrative sex with Ronnie, and it was more than hinted at that Ronnie took her rosebud, too. That sequence was almost like her conscience talking.

The sequence you mentioned seems to me like either a wistful memory or a daydream. We can’t decide which. BUT, it seems a foregone conclusion that she and Ronnie banged nasties, more than once–she even punished herself for it, too.

Number 2. That’s actually more real than it seems. From what I’ve read, LOT’s of hotwives do not want their husbands watching as it makes them feel self-conscious and makes them feel they’re performing for their husband. It lessens her experience. Until the last escapades, I always had a choice. It made it better for Daria if I was there. She never felt she was doing it for me, though. If I wasn’t there, I never suffered from the angst that other husbands suffer. Some husbands get off on NOT being there; I didn’t. Daria never went alone unless we felt she was absolutely safe. Daria’s safety was the biggest factor in everything we did.

So, Libby is self-conscious. It’s cool. Ben will get his chances. Finn and Libby will make damn sure of that.

Ben not participating occasionally is probably playing right into Chelsea and Finn’s hands, too. It gives Libby a chance to form a tighter bond. Both Daria and I envision nooner’s coming soon, too.

KT’s done it again. Complete speculation station!

We like what you wrote, James! Very, very cool!

      1. KT – Your site is familiar to me, I guess I never noticed if my posts have previously needed to be approved by the blog master general, but I know sometimes it has happened to others …

      2. I don’t know why my site does that. I’m not real web savvy, and I think the first time or so I didn’t even notice I had a spam folder. There were posts from you guys sitting in there, and I didn’t even know. I think I’m getting better at managing it, it’s just a matter of remembering to poke through the messages when i’m in here…

    2. For 1) I think its just to be cool. Libby is on the fringe of the cool people in school, if she fucks a cool person she becomes cooler in the eyes of her other friends who are on the fringe with her.

For 2) I think she wants to be alone because she’s shy and she feels she has to hold herself back when her husband is around because she doesn’t want to upset him and or she is thinking about what he is feeling/thinking. When she is alone she doesn’t have to think about his feelings and can just let loose.

As for Chelsea I have to disagree. I think she is actually irrelevant to the story going forward until the final conflict arises. She was needed in this story for someone for Ben to talk to and to help him accept The new “normal”. Now that Ben has accepted it Libby can do what she wants. I couldn’t care less what chelsea’s motives as they don’t matter to me. The train is on the track and Ben and Libby’s relationship will either be derailed by Finn or the track will hold and the car will get to the end peacefully. Chelsea is a redundancy. I don’t look at her as a main character if something good happens to her fine, if KT were to open the next book at Chelsea’s funeral I’m okay with that and think the story could move forward just as it would with her alive.

To me cuckold/hotwife erotica revolves around the couple and the other guy. The best stories to me are like part 3 of chelsea hates libby where the focus of the book in on the other guy and wife… Perhaps because I usually relate to the other guy in the stories as opposed the couple. That’s what makes KT such a good author though as people with different view points can still enjoy he story.

      1. Chinook – think I lean more towards you and Libby is just trying to get some cool points by getting to say she was with Ronnie, but in love that I can make a case for something else. I love having to think about everything it’s much more intriguing.

As far as my specific thoughts about why Libby wants to be alone with Finn, I lean more towards what David was saying. Shes just a bit self conscious about being intimate with people, although, she is definitely warming up to that it seems. You could make the case that Finn helps let her bring her guard down, probably because she gets to say, “I was just following orders.” Lol

And I also agree that to me this genre is all about husband/boyfriend and wife/girlfriend and the bull, but still i have to push back on Chelsea as a redundant character. I have to wonder why you would think that when she seems pretty clearly to be the mastermind not just about what everyone is doing but who shes doing it with. Its because of Chelsea’s past with Libby and Ben that is the reason why she sought them out. I feel like Finn might have a mind of his own, sure, but I feel like Chelsea knows Finn in and out. Finn maybe developing feelings for Libby is probably part of her plan too.

I could just be giving Chelsea too much credit, but she seems so in control.

      2. Libby has bundled feelings from growing up with Chelsea. Fear and compression, and as that box is opened, there’s all kinds of shit flowing over now. Chelsea is intrinsic, but I hear what Chinook is saying. Libby isn’t looking to fall in love with Chelsea, but she does crave acceptance and will need a tour guide too…

      3. I don’t think she is the mastermind by herself. She had the connection to the couple sure, and she might have personal debts to settle that could be the original reason for the scheme. However, once Finn met Libby at the party my guess is Finn and Chelsea went home and devised the plan together or at the very least revised the plan. I say she is redundant because whatever KT has her do she could have Finn do the exact same thing and the story is the same. Also I have no interest in her motivations, and from this point forward her motivations for starting the train down the path are moot anyway. Regardless of why she wanted this to happen it’s happening. We only need to be informed of her reasoning at the end to tie the story together but it’s not a necessary plot point to me… we don’t need to check in with Chelsea to see how her plan is working. The most obvious example of her being redundant was book three of Chelsea hates Libby. Besides being in the hospital in the beginning and at the restaurant towards the end she was gone through the rest of the story and that story was fantastic.

      4. Chinook,
Going to have to disagree about Chelsea’s role. In this last book, as well as in the first CHL volume, we learn that Finn has been taking coffee to Libby and her pal for quite a while, enough time for the friend to have developed a crush on Finn. Libby chose to conceal that at the party, where she was crushing on him. This was all Chelsea’s orchestration, along with the bedroom BJ. Guys like Finn don’t hang around at bookstores cultivating the meek-girl clerks because they want to learn that of which they were deprived in a rough upbringing.

And like a true auteur, Chelsea was willing to suffer for her performance art, taking a couple of punches to the face, whilst preparing the lube and plug almost simultaneously. This actually made things easier for Chelsea’s plan, by playing off Libby’s remaining innocence and guilty feelings. Not the actions of a minor player, imho.

OT, but relevant: I have searched long and wide for the Inspector Fenwich-Dudley Do Right dialogue, which consists of Fenwick telling Do Right “Do Right, you’re puny.” Do Right replies “I’m not puny!” This goes back and forth several times and the GIPHY would have made a great addition to KT’s frontpiece for this volume in light of the Bronze Medal scene.

      5. There are so many snippets I wish existed in gif from, ha ha! I search sometimes and go ‘What, no one’s done one?’ Jeez…

And, yes, I imagine Finn, who didn’t know Libby from growing up, was sent to the book store to make a friendship by his loving wife Chelsea to establish a pre-existing relationship with their new neighbors, knowing that it would add tension when they finally met in the neighborhood. Chelsea knows Libby can’t handle stress of the boy-kind and delighted in raising Lib’s shame and blood pressure at the party when she had to act like she’d never met Finn before. Haven’t any of you ever been mean girls? You gotta up your mean girl games. I swear, it’s an innate understanding of Macchiavelli’s The Prince and Sun Tzu without ever having read the books; an onboard ability to leverage the weakness of others using the art of humiliation.

    3. Dude, you always make my day!

Ha ha, at the Blue Steel, I didn’t think it that way, but you are so right. Ha ha. And to frame it with a movie reference is perfect. In fact, if I’d been thinking, I would have set that up: earlier Chelsea references ‘achievement unlocked’ in some way and parallels it to Blue Steel, then instead of saying Anal Orgasm when Libby comes she just smiles and says Blue Steel. Where were you when I needed you, ha ha?

    1. T*(B=H),
C’mon now! You cannot possibly be as old as I am and come to my mental decrepitude honestly. You have to be able to remember what you wrote five minutes ago.⏳

  10. Finally got through it. Took my time. It’s brilliant and almost painstakingly long. I could never do that. Get to the point is my writing style. KT has a very unique writing voice.

We see what happens next. Maybe there wont be a happy end for the “starting couple”? I want a happy end to all the books I read. But it doesn’t have to be in the starting configuration. I could see Lib end up with Finn, but after this book it seems a little bit more questionable, if Finn isn’t just toying with her. And Ben doesn’t seem to be Chelseas type. Besides that he loves his wife to much to replace her. So there are just to options. Late happy end like other KT books or a train wreck. 😉

Favorite scene: Bronze medal. First that Ben and Lib had to discover, that they had other guests. Than Bens little humilaton. I don’t think it was to bad. I even found it quite funny. Don’t no why. Maybe because Ben is a clever guy, who should have understood the reference on a normal day. Probably his brain was already lacking some blood.

    1. Ha ha! I loved that scene. They’re all so blase about penis size that Ben’s feelings don’t occur to them. It’s just a reality, not a big deal…

  11. Ok guys this is random but I just finished episode 8 of The boys. OMG Becky raising Homelanders child. Ultimate betrayal of butcher. He set out to kill home lander now he has to kill Becky. Cuckold or what. David I have so much respect for what you share in this forum and I’m enthralled because it’s so foreign to my way of thinking. That’s why I read kts books to try and understand. No jealousy. Ha. I once threatened to throw a guy over the yacht club balcony b/c he was rubbing my wife’s shoulders. I’m super jealous but not usually violent. He keeps he”s distance now. I find your life fascinating and love that you seem to have found peace. I wish you all the best. It seems like you have been on a wild ride. Btw loved Arnica Butlers last book too. It’s like kt is inspirational.

    1. I’m just not jealous. That doesn’t mean I don’t care. I’ve been in physical confrontations twice in adulthood. Once with a former friend (the owner of the gym we used to use) and another time in FL with a “Bull”. I’m not proud of those times, but I do stand my ground when challenged (unless you’re a redneck cop with a gun waving in my face).

Thanks, though. We’re as good as good can be!

BTW, Parker Pascal has a new book out, “Hold On Tight”. It reminded me of Kenny Wright’s “Training to Love It: Part One”. It’s GREAT if you like build up! I LOVE build up! Daria liked it, too. Part two is promised, but then I dunno… He still hasn’t written the second part of the Spy book, so holding ones breath doesn’t seem to be an option. When it comes out, we’ll read it. He’s a great writer!

    1. That conversation was one of my fav parts of the book. It’s what new lovers starting a relationship would do. It should be the scariest part for Ben if he had been there. It’s one of the things that makes kt great

      1. Yup. I figured some of it would be covered in their coffee conversations, so part of it would be a re-hashing. But I like how it was Libby who initiated…

  12. Question for the panel. Chelsea insisted a number of times that Finn might want Libby, but that he wants Ben more, what do we make of that? Currently my interpretation is rooted in Finn’s conversation with Libby about enjoying Ben watching them, and I think Chelsea said something similar as well. He really likes being able to elicit passion from other men’s wives, A passion stronger than what their husband can bring out of them. That’s how I am taking that all to mean. What say you? Do you think he’s saying he wants Ben to get involved in their sexcapades? Do you think Chelsea is just trying to coerce Ben into doing more and more of what Finn says so Finn can be with Libby more?

    1. T*e^(B/H),
Good question. I reread the relevant parts of the book and it seems quite clear that Chelsea and Finn are grooming Libby to be their sex toy and Ben to be the sub. Getting Ben in touch with the real Finn, or at least part of Finn, was essential to the overall programme. OTOH, this is KT and things do not always work in a straightforward manner. Also, Chelsea said something that indicated she wanted to punish Ben as well.

Whether and to what extent Finn is in charge of all this, and the rest are just submissive to him or whether Chelsea is fully in the director’s chair we shall have to see. For now, we know that Libby likes the sex, Ben likes the pain, Chelsea likes Libby’s wet pussy, and Finn likes Libby’s eager submission. Assume Remi and XiXi just want Libby any way they can have her, and if that is at the Club then so be it. And Libby wants a tryout as one of the cool kids. That will be the ultimate revenge for Chelsea if the initial pretext is still valid – toppling Libby from her temporary pedestal.

      1. Or, maybe Finn is the real “Biggus Dickus” from “Life of Brian, and just wants everyone to worship his staff.

P.S., my “like” button does not work. I greatly appreciate the posts of the assembled multitudes.

    2. When we first read that part, Daria looked at me and said, “No way!” Then we thought KT cleared up rather nicely when Chelsea tried to convince Ben he was a sub. However, didn’t Ben touch something of Finn’s? Honestly, we think it was just Chelsea feeling out Ben about being a sub. That doesn’t mean as a sub, Ben wouldn’t do as he was told.

  13. The Problem with Repressing Desires all Your Life.

One of the problems that I foresee with Libby and Ben is that Libby is now entering a phase in her life that might open her mind to things that she had previously denied herself or did not want to do for whatever reason. It’s only a problem if the change is such that Ben and Libby can’t reconcile or adjust what they define for their relationship with each other to encompass wherever Libby and Ben go on the other end of this journey, but this is a very real risk of not working out if things get out of hand and the change is too much for either to bear.

Libby’s sexuality, her expressiveness, her personality in general is one that can be defined as subdued, repressed even. I’m wondering though if that’s where she feels comfortable or if that’s how she was raised. If this is truly who she is as a person it might be that what’s going in this series can be a blip in a life that is willing to explore but mostly live a modest life and stay under the covers during sex on Wednesday’s. If, however, this is a story of a woman who is shedding the person that her parents wanted her to be or that she thought that she should be but not truly her, then it might not be as simple, because we might be witnessing a permanent transformation into someone who is comfortable with her body and how she feels about things.

Again, that doesn’t have to be an issue if Ben can meet her on the other side, but it might be if Libby doesn’t want him to be there when she figures things out for herself. And, at this point, can we really blame her? Both of Ben and Libby cheated, and though they both feel strongly for each other, things have already changed now that it’s out in the open and they are pursuing swinging, or swinging-esque behavior. And now that they are engaging in that it’s noticeably effecting how Libby sees herself already.

I always seem to be willing to bring up the possible threat to the longevity of a relationship and I’ve certainly brought up the concept of a ‘relationship journey’ before, but I just like talking about the issues I think that are the root of the story’s potential conflict. Libby is using her experiences with Chelsea and Finn to open up, to be bolder and to throw caution to the wind. So it’s an open question if that’s because it’s a temporary thrill, or if some part of Libby wants to change her life. Not to date Finn (and/or Chelsea) necessarily, or be a girl that sleeps around with anyone she feels attracted to, but maybe change (or acknowledge) who she is attracted to, interests that she has, or the person she wants to become.

    1. Hey James! As usual, a great, great write up!

One of the things that strikes me about KT’s stories is tension. KT can build tension in ways that are subtle, middle of the ground, or in your face. Here, KT’s tension is pretty much ignored by Ben who is blissfully watching his wife while pleasuring Chelsea. Ben is a trip. He’s about a cluless as cluless can be. Put a naked woman before him and he’s lost 50 I.Q. Points right off the bat. His I.Q. drops further if that woman shows interest, even feigned. Put Libby in the mix and the boy is downright mentally disabled. It’s like someone unplugged him.

KT is brilliant, though. This is slow burn at its best. Seriously.

Both my wife and I think Ben and Libby’s relationship is in grave danger and it’s all because of that darn Prologue. We also think Libby is going to embrace her sexuality fully. We believe she’s going to listen to Finn and really start laying into Ben. Even though she teased Ben about his medium size at the end of the book, this is the road we believe she’s going to take.

Your points are very valid, bro. I don’t know how to comment about them without writing a book, so I’ll just say, waytago! 🙂

      1. DnD, T={H!∞R[B]}, Both good points. The reason the tension works, IMHO, is that KT makes us care about the characters, even if we do not like them. This is a particularly deceptive crew, and yet we fall over ourselves to figure out the why’s, when’s, and wherefore’s. That’s because the characters are strong, realistic enough, and enjoyable, even if unlikeable.

Most others in the genre cannot create realistic tension because the characters are not strong enough and the writing does not makes us care too much about what happens to them.

        Thanks, KT.

      2. Aw, jeez—it’s you guys that make me care to make you care about them. If you didn’t care, I would stop bothering!

      3. Well said, Donkatsu!

We still don’t like any of the characters, but we are pulling for Ben to get his act together before it’s too late.

I/we do wonder though if KT will go the full cuckhold route and invest some time in that direction. KT hints at is, but really the closest the story has gotten with verbal humiliation (which was lost on Ben) was when LIbby recited what Finn told her to recite and at the end of the book. Even in book three when Ben was denied, it didn’t seem all that harsh.

      4. Hmm. What’s the general feeling on that? Would I be in trouble if Ben ended up caged and powerless, watching Chelsea’s crew showing Lib the time of her life, while the girls took turns humiliating him…?

      5. KT – I am not a fan of direct humiliation (I think is well established but here I go again!), I like any instances of humiliation to be organic to a moment that didn’t have the intention of humiliating anyone, sort of like what David Silver was pointing out in the hot tub. No one was intentionally trying to belittle Ben in this moment, it just happened like that by accident. It’s not just with humiliation, to me moments that have great meaning are the things that happen naturally and don’t feel like it was inserted in the moment to produce a desired outcome or effect.

Libby and Finn chatting it up and leaving the chapter with that lovely banter of ‘I’m not so bad’ and ‘I’m not so good’ was fucking primo on-the-spot spontaneity that conveys so much to the story while not feeling like it was directly inserted for effect. It may have, and I have to feel like something that good was thought up but just needed the right time, and boy howdy was it executed to perfection. If it was predetermined, and I’m not saying it was, where it fit left a magnificent impact on this reader.

I could do without the fade to black sex scene outros like you did here, KT … I know why you do them sometimes though so JK, but also not really, lol.

      6. Thank you—I’m in agreement, too.

And I love Libby and Finn chatting like that. They’re such an unlikely du, and I love seeing them making a connection outside of the banging.

Fade to black: I know! I have to finish the book at some time, ha ha! That was a big sex night for everybody, the book would’ve doubled! But it’s good to know that someone out there enjoys the sex scenes.

      7. KT – Whoops, my previous reply was to your explanation of how you’re doing juggling so many book series simultaneously.

Now in response to the comment above – I’m certainly not the only one who appreciates your sex scene writing. I guess the saltiness I have with the choice to fade out in this instance was because this particular moment was highly anticipated, but that’s a personal preference and might be irrelevant to the plot, which I can acknowledge.

It could also be something that is more emphasized in future books, I just don’t want to wait …

      1. Not being a cuckold, I would really enjoy it if you went the full on cuck route. Even more hardcore than you have in the past. With your skill at expressing a characters emotions in such a way to make it believeable. So, yeah, have Ben become Benji, have him caged, wearing panties (or corset, or… or..) , and becoming a full service cuckold. Much to his disgust. Have Libby show her disgust by tormenting Benji. Then rip it all away by having Finn dump Libby. You can do it better than anyone. I’m certain of that.

Daria says I should be a “bull”. No way. I can’t do those things to a person, but it sure if fun reading about it!

Hey, talk about a box being kicked over? 🙂

  14. Donkatsu,

I never said Chelsea is a minor player she obviously had the connections to Libby and Ben regardless of when she first introduced Ben to Libby ( I don’t really care when Finn was first introduced tho Libby, but after that first meeting he’s been as much or more a part of the scheme.

What I said is going forward from now she is redundant because ultimately she has no direct control over any of the three players. As you say Finn isn’t one to hangout in book stores, he also isn’t one to let his wife, with seemingly no redeeming qualities, control his life so even if Chelsea wants Finn to hurt Libby by dumping her the choice is ultimately Finn’s to make. He could tell Chelsea to fuck off and run away with Libby too.thechoice is his and his alone. Just like it’s Libby’s choice to fall for him and kick Ben to the curb, and it’s Ben’s choice to let sit there or stand up for himself.

Where we can disagree is on the importance of Chelsea’s motivations. To me they don’t matter. If KT were never to tell us Chelsea’s motivations it wouldn’t bother me in the slightest. I can see how some people would go ape shit over not knowing though.

I’m actually rooting for Chelsea to have a catastrophic accident or die as a way to ratchet up the angst between Libby Finn and Ben. And it’s the Libby Finn and Ben triangle that keeps me reading this series.

      1. KT,
Chelsea’s too good for Hostel. Maybe that nice Canadian gal, Stana Katic (, the hot FBI babe from Absentia, will be unable to work season 3, and they will task Chelsea with a 2-3 month stint to film the show in Bulgaria. And besides, the Katic character is obviously hiding something really dark in Absentia.

I don’t see Finn relocating to Bulgaria for 8-10 weeks to do his soundman schtick, he can hardly give orders to the crew in Serbo-Croatian or Old Church Slavonic, and he will need some comforting, and he’s only human, . . .

      2. I like it…. keeps the character alive, but just in the either.. she can still pull some strings from across the pond.

      1. Good to hear, I love this series. Enjoy watching Jonny suffer as he tries to get back to where his and Charlie’s life once was. I’m hoping KT makes Jonny suffer a bit more before it is over. He needs to have a long lasting reminder of this experience and what a douche bag he was. Maybe Peyronie disease being locked in the cage too long and getting erections to often? Charlie there are a few permanent changes she takes away from her experiences too. There is no going back!

      2. via GIPHY

If you mean Book 5, it will be as soon as I can!

        via GIPHY

If you mean Book 4, you are in luck! Impure Thoughts is book 4 in the Chelsea, Ben, Libby, Finn saga. It’s a new series with the same characters and their continuing story…

  15. I don’t know if it was me or you guys but 1 minute there’s 79 thoughts and not much happening then I hit refresh and it’s 112. Good to see kt involved. So Finn and Chelsea are based on real people you know. One day when you’re rich and famous you need to write a tell all memoir and then we can say so that’s Chelsea etc. it would be great.

Isn’t it great that we are a book 4 of the CFLB saga and we are still all wondering where is going. Personally I hope is not severe cuckold humiliation as is not my favourite. Took me a while to come to grips with it (no pun intended) in Reza. It’s easier since I feel hubby deserved it somehow as it was he mistake, the embezzlement and he makes his wife pay the price. Can’t feel too sorry for him. Ben also cheated first at least in their marriage so maybe just desserts and it would be great to see Libby as a total slut. Would prefer to see it all backfire on Chelsea though.

On reading material, seems it’s going to be a while before we see another kt book and I’m taking the family sailing around Bora Bora for 2 weeks from the end of next week so I need books. Internet is hopeless I’m you leave the main island so I need to stock up. Thanks for the Parker Pascal recommendation Dave. Does anyone have any others particularly outside the regular “crew” as I have all those.

  16. Just finished up this one I’ve been very busy with work and life. I’ll get a review posted too. Interesting seeing Libby embrace her sluttier side! Is there more on her interactions with Ronnie? We’ll have to see what KT dreams up… Poor Ben I think he maybe in for a rough time who knows he may like it. I love Libby’s questioning comment “Will I get used to it-your size?”. What will Ben reaction be the day he realizes Libby has gotten used to it? Will Libby let up on her restriction on Ben and let him play too? How far will Chelsea and Finn’s control over Libby and Ben go? As usual we are dealing with the lack of birth control we’ll be fun to see if Libby’s number come’s up in Vatican Roulette. Remi and Xixi hope to see more of these two in the future. Got to go!
    Thank You

      1. In a word, we have. We’re in Western Michigan, but we’re going back home today. As soon as my wife gets up, I’ll tear down the motor home and we’re on our way back.

Just a note about Hurricane Dorian. Our parents (Daria’s aunt and uncle) are in FL. We’re coming back early because they’re coming to stay with us. I stayed up late last night convincing them to come. They’re on their way. They’re all the family either of us has. A Category 5 hurricane is nothing to joke about. Even though they’re in Central, well, west of central Florida, the storm, even if the storm does turn north, it’s going to be horrible.

Before we started the adoption process, we had planned to go to Belgium for the F1 race at Spa–it’s on my bucket list. Yesterday, during the F2 race, a driver was killed and another seriously injured. Now, the hurricane. Sad. Very sad.

I feel for the family who owns the house we rent for the winter. Two years ago, the first floor was gutted. Now, who knows?

Please send positive thoughts to everyone in the hurricane’s path.

      2. I’ll lighten the mood…

The last time our parents visited, it was unannounced. They called us when they were on their way. One of Daria’s guys had just left (the guy who checks our house when we’re away) after a really fun weekend. So, when we got the call, we freaked. I rushed to an actual party store and got two black lights. We were on our hands and knees, standing, scrubbing the guest room and its bathroom from top to bottom, using the black lights so we got everything sanitized. 🙂 Junk was everywhere!

I hadn’t thought about that in a long time until just now. 🙂 It was a fun weekend, and our parents suspected nothing!

  17. Hope all goes well. The video footage of the f2 crash was horrific. Nearly caught by the parents what a classic. By black light do you mean ultraviolet?

    1. Thanks, Tracey. Yep. UV.

Our parents visit was a funny week. Before we knew of our parents visit, I remember being kept awake by noisy neighbors in the guest room. During our parents stay, we were very, very quiet in our room, even contemplated going to the motor home in the garage for umm…privacy. But, we didn’t. After our parents left, we added more sound proofing. It was loud! 😉

We’re home awaiting our parents arrival. We’ve been stuck on the Weather Channel.

I didn’t watch the F2 crash video. It’s not something a person can unsee. I’m happy Sky didn’t replay the crash during the F1 broadcast.

  18. So reading the blog it seems that there will be another Libby/Ben/Chelsea/Finn book in the works? Not that I’m complaining but does that mean that the next Reza book is on hold? No problem you got to follow your creative juices. Anything helps with my KT fix.

    1. Everything is in the works at the same time! It’s part of being manic.

Reza was on the go; I wrote a fun opening, was enjoying it, then Harrison was yelling at me from the back seat, and I blasted through the opening chapters of Separate Schools 3. Now that was a bigger blast, so I rolled a bit longer. Then I read some scenes I’d plotted for another book, and hit the pedal on those. That’s the book that will come out next. It’s not really my book, but some of you will think it’s the bee’s knees. I hope.

Now I return to Reza. Because that opening scene was filled with lovely promise…

    1. It’s lurking in the bg right now, but it will surface again. I really have to get back in the groove here—real life been swinging at me, got me bobbing and weaving. But the fun will return soon…

      1. “Down goes Frazier! Down goes Frazier!” Yeah, I watched the video of it…

Take your time, KT. “…Stepping in the ring. From here on, sonny, sonny, sonny, it’s a long and lonely climb…”

I’m happy you’re doing what you feel! One thing is for certain, if anyone EVER calls you a cookie cutter author, they’ve got us to deal with! Push the envelope! Risk screwing the pooch. It’s all about the journey.

    1. No, never! And I only came up with the title yesterday. Had no idea what to call it, sitting with Photoshop open, that image there, wondering what the hell I would title it. Then I channelled my new favorite steamy romance author, and came up with the river name and title all at once. The river had been called the Chattahoochee in the book up till yesterday.

That said, the book was outlined in 2016, and I always wanted to do it, but never got inspired until earlier in the week. Now I love it!

I love and thank you for the eee, however, this is a new kind of book. It’s not KT, but it’s kind of KT. There’s some humiliation, but thankfully it’s organic. There is male bisexuality, so it’s not for everyone. It’s something I’ve wanted to try for a while with these stories but didn’t figure I’d have everyone on board.

      1. Allie Castro, huh? So that’s the secret to your crazy output, there’s a team of writers in your brain.

      2. We have nothing against male bisexuality or any kind of sexuality, for that matter. “Whatever gets you through the night…”

That title… 🙂 Can the wife ever go back to Willie and his worm?

        I crack myself up!

  19. Thanks for the warning, admittedly I did not see that this upcoming title was one of your alter-ego’s doing until after my post, and while it doesn’t do anything for me, neither does it repulse me what expressions of sexuality we should expect in the story that has only ever been brushed upon from the author’s core-persona, so my excitement is not dampened.

Somewhere in the mind that is calling herself Allie Castro is an author I am familiar with, so I will be eager to read this.

  20. We now know that KT employs a stable of writers, all willingly giving voice to her perfervid imagination. Like any real entrepreneur she uses a stable of imported labor: first Becky Haze (b. Elizabeta Hazonyi, Budapest 1964), now Allie Castro (b. Aldonsa Castro, Fonseca, Nicaragua, 1997), to amplify her output.

We have to give KT credit for allowing her writers to receive author’s credit, and perhaps even some royalties. Many of her colleagues continue to publish other peoples’ writings only under their own names even after they are dead.

Will we find out your real name when you are cited by Forbes as a young (N.) American business leader? A worthy successor to Robert Ludlum?

When will Hollywood release the first in your series of films (“The Maggie Seduction”, “The Maggie Betrayal”, etc.)? Most important, who will play Carol? We already know that Lin Chi-ling ( has earned the right to play Maggie. Will Matt Damon have a cameo appearance as Martin?

  21. All kidding aside, KT does have books (Cherry Blossums, especially) that could be movies. For the Netflix or Amazon Prime series, I’d go with the Maggie series and possibly Happy Endings….hmm… why not both?

    1. DnD,
Having just reread Cherry Blossoms, and this being summer and all, I can not ever look at swimming pool and hardscape contracting companies the same way again.

  22. Just saw the premiere for Lucy in the Sky at TIFF yesterday, the first half of which could easily have been a KT story (so I thought I’d share).

Natalie Portman plays an astronaut (Lucy) going through an existential crisis upon returning from space, the major symptom of which is her entering into an affair with a fellow astronaut played by Jon Hamm.

So many of the little details would’ve been right at home in a classic NTR/cheating/cuckold story –
Jon Hamm’s character is the hotshot, older, bad boy astronaut (literally described by Lucy’s husband as a “divorced action hero that likes to go fast”). He basically starts out interacting with the main character by getting her to lie to her husband about working late when she’s going out bowling. When she comes home to the husband, played by Dan Stevens, she has pent up sexual energy.

Jon Hamm’s character later basically negging her into acting on her attraction by telling her she doesn’t believe she’s ever done anything wrong in her life.

There’s a minor running gag about Lucy’s husband needing her help to open jars for him. Lucy describes her marriage as her marrying the nicest guy she could find.

Lucy’s husband talking to her about office gossip that Jon Hamm’s character is a womanizer (after they coincidentally interrupt his date with another younger astronaut that makes her jealous and drives her to want him more).

Lucy lamenting that, after being up in space, everything at home seems so small (this one was definitely not intentional but I couldn’t help noticing the innuendo in context).

This film was based on the real life events some of you may recall from about a decade ago and everything goes sideways from there, but I couldn’t help noticing these details.

  23. Really enjoyed the series. Will book 5 been published soon? Or will the series remain unfinished?
